Blepharoplasty 19.80 is a surgical procedure that aims to improve the aesthetic appearance of the upper and lower eyelids. This technique allows to solve diverse problems, as much those of hereditary character as those originated by natural process of aging and the exposure to the sun: the wrinkles can be corrected, the fall of the superior eyelids and the bags that are formed in the inferior ones. Any of these problems can make the patient appear old and tired.

Eyelid plastic surgery 19.80 improves this, leaving a more youthful and rested appearance; it can also be done in conjunction with a lifting.

SURGERY

The procedure usually lasts between one and three hours. When all four eyelids are operated on, the operation usually starts with the upper eyelids. The incisions are usually located in the folds of your upper eyelid and just below the lower lashes. If necessary, they extend into the lines that form on the outside of the eyes. The second step is to separate the skin from the fatty and muscular tissue.

The excess fat, skin and, in some cases, muscle are then removed. To finish, it is sutured with very fine and delicate threads. The scars are hidden in the natural folds of the eyes. In your patients whose problem is only the excess of fat, a transconjunctival blepharoplasty can be performed, which is developed through an incision inside the lower eyelid and leaves no visible scar.

This surgery is performed under local anesthesia and sedation, does not require hospitalization and the patient is indicated to rest in bed 24 hours, using ice and compresses with chamomile tea

To return to your usual tasks, you should wait between a week and ten days, avoiding exertion- particularly activities that increase blood pressure for at least three weeks. For a while, to go outside, it may be necessary to wear dark glasses and sunscreen over the eyelids to protect against wind, dust and light. Scars gradually disappear over a period of several months.
